A reputable consutlancy are looking to recruit an experienced Graduate Engineer to join its busy building structure design team.

The successful candidate will expand their experience in the structural design of all materials and forms of construction including steelwork, loadbearing masonry, timber frame, foundations and general infrastructure work.

The projects are generally building structures and range in value from Ł500k to Ł5m. The work is varied and includes residential, commercial, industrial and leisure.

They encourage their Engineers to take responsibility and there will be opportunities for site visits, attendance at meetings, and liaison with other professionals and contractors.

Candidates must be fully computer literate and have experience in using AutoCAD. Good written and verbal communication skills and a positive outlook are essential.

They are registered with the Institution of Structural Engineers company registration scheme of firms that have committed to support their staff through Initial Professional Development (IPD).

Ideally some post graduate experience is required and candidates should be working towards Chartered status, although less experienced individuals would also be considered.
