You will be responsible for electrical services design projects from inception to completion in a range of sectors including, commercial, industrial, defence, Home Office, health, education, housing and Local Authorities. Knowledge of HV Systems and advantage is desirable.

The position will involve; the production of design drawings, calculations and specifications from concept stage to contract completion, working to agreed budgets taking into account client specific requirements. Ensuring design’s comply with all current statutory regulation’s / BS’s / HTM’s/ HDM’s / CIBSE Guides, IEE Regulations etc.

The role will also include report writing, estimating, undertaking condition and dilapidation surveys on new and old buildings, project management, CDM duties and witnessing of testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate must have an in-depth design experience preferably within a consulting design field. You will also be a chartered engineer or working towards this.
