The Civil Engineer will serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of structural works.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following:

•Monitoring the structural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.

•Reviewing, approving and processing all structural technical submittals.

•Coordinating and supervising the work of all structural activities and operations.

•Reviewing contractors structural change order proposals and preparing recommendations to Resident Engineer and or client for review.

•Reviewing contractors claims related to structural works and preparing recommendations for claims approval or rejection.

•Approving the contractors as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals.

•Assisting with the final inspection of the work.

Qualification: BSc Degree in Civil Engineering.

Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
