A rare opportunity has arisen for a Lead Planner to join our client in Jeddah to head up the Planning team on a major airport project.

We’re looking for a degree educated planner with at least 15 years relevant experience, with some of this being gained on an airport project.

Broadly written, you’ll be tasked with the following;

7 to 10 Years of Experience in Planning/Scheduling
Good Knowledge in CPM scheduling and in Primavera Application.
Reviews, gives comments and approves all the planning documents, submitted by the Contractor.
Participates in reviewing and approving all submitted method statements before its scheduled start on site.
Monitors Contractor’s progress according to the approved time programme and its updated versions and reports to the CRE in case of any delays, and alerts him early enough in case of potential delays.
Checks Contractor’s resources on site and compares these with weekly reports by the Contractor and the requirements of the submitted programme, and writes to the Contractor in case of any deficiency from programme.
Maintains a site diary through report collection and site visits.
Determines causes of delay-if any- and advises the Project Controller on suggested remedial measures.
Reviews and evaluate all requests for time extension.
Studies the time element of all requested variation orders.
Reviews the Contractor’s correspondence on time and progress issues and prepares the drafts of replies.
Prepares the time section in the monthly progress report.
Participates in the progress and other meetings related to revisions of programme and claim analysis. Provides necessary guidance and assistance in all aspects of contract management in proper implementation of the contract provisions.
Provides guidance on any claim from a contractual point of view.
Defines time schedules for implementing all components of the project.
Advises the Employer on requests for time extensions and/or additional cost
