Electrical Power Engineer - Dubai / Sharjah - 25,000 AED Monthly

Our client electrical and energy team within the Water and Power Business Group supports the full range of large scale and prestigious projects across the Middle East. Project inputs range from the mechanical and electrical component of one of the world’s largest membrane sewage treatment plant in Sharjah, to the design of high voltage infrastructure works on the Lusail development in Qatar. The Clients plans for expansion in the middle east are ambitious and require a major expansion of the already significant MEE team.

Technical / professional expertise:
The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge.

Experience of HV, EHV and substations
Experience of working on infrastructure projects would be an advantage
Excellent inter-personal skills
Ability to follow management systems and deliver to time in a structured manner with a quality result
Ability to prioritise work effectively
Familiarity with IEC standards
Design experience (all concept, preliminary and detailed) and awareness of QA/QC procedures
Minimum qualifications
BSc Electrical Engineering (Major in Power) or equivalent.
