Wastewater Project Manager, Abu Dhabi
Our client delivers a comprehensive and diverse range of engineering and professional services which improves social and physical infrastructure for communities around the globe. Having recently been awarded a large scale project in Abu Dhabi, they have an immediate requirement for a Wastewater project Manager to liaise with their client and manage the project.
Position responsibilities:
• Managing large-scale wastewater treatment and sewerage projects for our client in Abu Dhabi
• Ensure that contractual obligations of the client will be performed on time
• Review the preliminary design of treated effluent tanks
• Management of the application for and procurement of utilities such as power, water and telecom
• Assisting the client in developing a concept dealing with partially treated effluent during the commissioning period of all wastewater treatment plants
• Coordinate interface issues of adjacent large scale wastewater treatment plants (incoming pipelines, treated effluent pipelines and by-pass pipelines)
• Liaison between contractors, Client and other stakeholders
• To support sales and marketing development activities and prepare technical and commercial bids

Skills and experience
• 10-15 years post graduation experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience of managing wastewater treatment and sewerage projects
• Experience in the UAE is desirable, but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail and a results orientated focus
• Flexibility in regards to work hours
• Highest professional integrity
• A recognised degree in civil/environmental engineering
