Senior Site Structural Engineer- Abu Dhabi

Due to our rapid expansion they now require Senior Site Structural Engineer to be located in their offices in Abu Dhabi.

Working in a multidisciplinary team providing a comprehensive service to our clients, this is a great opportunity to gain additional and more senior experience with an internationally renowned consultancy, affording the opportunity to work on large scale multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements

Responsible for reviewing and commenting on shop drawings
Responsible for reviewing and commenting on material submittals
Inspection of structural works in progress
Ensuring compliance with specifications and contract drawings
Liaison with Contractor & Designers
Responsibility for maintenance of quality standards in site works executed by contractor
Monitor and report on contractor’s progress and all activities on site
Review & authorise inspectors’ daily reports
Prepare his portion of the weekly report and give relevant input to the monthly report
Witnessing of testing and verification of mechanical systems commissioning
Report any health & safety concerns
Other duties as requested from time to time

Responsibilities

To review and comment on contractor submittals, resolve technical issues arising and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
