Project Manager – Business Development - MEP
One of our clients a Kuwait’s leading Architectural Consultants was established in 1961 with projects and offices in the Middle East is seeking for a high qualified engineer with wide ranging skills.
Job Purpose
This position requires knowledge of marketing and market research for potential Engineering projects (Infrastructure roads, utilities, sewage treatment as well as MEP Building Services and District Cooling Projects), identify potential Clients, follow up on potential project requirement, provide feed back to the Business Development and Engineering departments and liaise with them on technical and marketing issues. Good communication skills and a pleasant personality are key elements to establish good rapport with Clients. Technical and Managerial skills should be sufficient to provide ‘basic’ support, identify design sequences time frame, anticipate potential issues, communicate effectively at all levels and have the experience and confidence to speak for the firm in dealing with the client and where required, to direct and expedite the work.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Bachelor degree in Project Management or an advanced degree in Project Management. Minimum of ten (10) years experience in design and/or design management, including a minimum of 3 years experience in Project Design Management. Must possess excellent communication skills and pleasing personality. A working knowledge of project management software is highly desired.
